The GamersNexus ‘Flux’ Project & Soldering mat was custom-designed as an easily cleaned, extremely heat resistant surface for projects ranging from component soldering and board repair to model building and bike or car part cleaning & maintenance. ESD Strap & Common Ground Point
The Wireframe Mouse Mat is approximately 36” x 12” (approx. 91cm x 30cm) and is printed with highly-detailed computer hardware components from a wireframe view. We made 3D models of tower cooler heatsinks, closed-loop liquid coolers, a motherboard, video card, their respective VRMs, memory modules, and an SSD, then accompanied them with our wireframe GN logo to build a unique, fully customized mouse mat for the PC enthusiast and DIY audience. With so many of our team members accessing the same screwdrivers, we’ve learned that pegboard-mounting tools makes for fast organization that is easily restored when cleaning-up. The GamersNexus Wireframe Mouse Mat is a large mouse pad designed to fill more of the desk space, sized to keep both the keyboard and mouse on the microfiber cloth surface.
The GN tool bag can fit 10 drivers (all included in the GN toolkit) and also has a zipper pouch for spare parts — like those screws you forgot to put back in, extra thermal pads, or tubes of thermal paste — and is easily rolled and buckled for secure transport. The Hex 4.0 & 5.0 (mm) head drivers are completely custom-tooled by GamersNexus for PC component disassembly. We have flattened the hex drivers so that they fit flush with the board, allowing the hex socket to get closer to the hex head screws for a better grip. The exterior of the hex drivers has also been ground-down even more, allowing good component clearance when working on PCBs near SMDs or through-hole devices.
The GamersNexus Modmat includes a free male common ground point (10mm stud, 6′ cable) with two receptacles for banana plugs, compatible with our included anti-static wrist strap. Static electricity will be grounded through the wrist strap, dispersed through the inner layer of the mat, and grounded to the wall through the common ground point. The ground point has a metal loop on the end that loops around the ground screw in a wall plate, and the mat-side uses a female 10mm snap.
